Great article and informative comments,

I think that the evil from this world stems from selfishness and the inability to have moderation/self-control. We love things that bring us enjoyment and pleasure. When someone is selfish and lacking self control....that drive for pleasure outweighs all other important factors in their life. Like whether what they are doing is detrimental to the people around them or society in large. I can honestly say that 99% of things in this world done or pursued excessively will turn out into a evil. Insanity is this obsession broad-casted to the world and untamed.

this is interesting, i took a "challenge of peace" class at BC junior year where we had a psychiatrist from a psych ward come and explain to us the condition of a lot of ppl held at his facility, and he describes a lot of their circumstances as being misunderstood...for lack of a better word. their mind was in love with what society says you cannot love...you are actually prompting me to go through my suitcases and find those notes!! how dare you educate me on my post-grad time hahah JK!! this is a brilliant thought though~keep rolling with it i think the more you get into it the more you discover..and although i hate to think about love in negative senses...i think there is a difference in the thought and practice of love...right...;)
